From her first job straight out of university, Shoshana has devoted her 30+ year career to creating social change by working as a front-line fundaiser and, since 2015, as a fundraising consultant to nonprofit organizations. This work has fed her soul and brought her an abundance of joy. She chooses to work with organizations that are aligned with her personal values and interests and where she and her firm are considered partners, strong allies, and stakeholders in the organization's ultimate success. Her goal is to ensure that donors and organizations can achieve their dreams and visions, and experience the joy in creating the change they want to see in the world.

Philanthropy changed Shoshana's life. As a child of working class parents, she was awarded financial aid to attend an independent high school in Cleveland, Ohio. This opened her life to new experiences, ideas, and possibilities. She was then awarded financial aid to attend The American University in Washington, DC She is proud to be the first in her family to attend and graduate from college. She beleives this achievement stems from the generous support she received from anonymous donors who believed in a student they didn't know and because of that support, dreams that were too big to dare to dream, came true.
Shoshana has walked in your fundraising shoes. She is not a career consultant. As the Chief Development professional at numerous organizations, she provided oversight for the strategic direction and overall management of fundraising operations and led these organizations in their successful annual, capital and endowment campaigns. She has personally led or been involved in raising transformational gifts for numerous multi-million dollar capital campaigns.
As a fundraising consultant, Shoshana has provided counsel and coaching to dozens of leading organizations and has a reputation for bringing a tailored, knowledgeable, and honest approach to each engagement
While Shoshana is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and brings deep understanding of Bay Area philanthropy, she has also spent many professional years working in other locales and has developed relationships with talented and successful women who are now working as consultants to independent schools and nonprofit organizations. Together, they have formed a consortium and are joining forces to go even deeper to help nonprofit organizations be more impactful and effective through high performing consulting engagements.
